Johnny Depp has announced the creation of IN.2 Records, a new record label formed in partnership with UK-based Cadiz Music. The label aims to become a home for both established and emerging artists, while also releasing soundtracks, live albums and special projects personally curated by Depp.
According to Depp, the label’s goal is to uphold a level of craftsmanship that mirrors his approach to film. “This label is a celebration of artistry and creativity,” he said. “We’ll be working with incredible musicians I’ve admired for years, collaborating with friends and discovering new voices. This is just the beginning.”
Cadiz Music, with more than two decades of experience in the industry, will handle production, sales and distribution. Co-founder Richard England described the partnership as “a label all about creative freedom.”
The label’s first release will be the soundtrack to Depp’s upcoming film Modigliani – Three Days on the Wing of Madness, featuring music from Tom Waits, Carla Morrison, The Tiger Lillies and The Velvet Underground & Nico, plus an original score by Sacha Puttnam. The soundtrack, which also includes dialogue from the film, will be available on double vinyl, CD and digital formats on November 7 2025.
IN.2 Records operates under Depp’s IN.2 Film Group, signaling a unified creative vision that bridges his cinematic and musical work. The label represents the next phase in Depp’s ongoing evolution from actor to full-fledged multimedia storyteller.
