Foo Fighters are heading back to Spain in a big way. The band has been announced as one of the main headliners for Mad Cool Festival\u2019s tenth-anniversary edition, taking place from 8 to 11 July 2026 at the Iberdrola Music site in Madrid\u2019s Villaverde district. This stop will be their only Spanish show<\/strong> during the European leg of their forthcoming world tour.\u00a0

<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Alongside Foo Fighters, the 2026 line-up reads like a rock history masterclass: Florence + The Machine, Lorde, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Twenty One Pilots, Pulp, The Black Crowes and more than 70 other artists spanning genres and generations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s edition also brings a fresh approach behind the scenes. Organisers have capped daily attendance at around 50,000-55,000 to improve comfort, delayed start times to avoid the midday heat, and revamped the festival layout with fewer but better-equipped stages, increased rest zones and stronger sustainability measures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets go on sale 17 November for Santander customers and Mad Cool members; general sale begins 20 November. With Foo Fighters as the only Spanish stop for 2026, demand is expected to surge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
